Olinda Bernardino Rosário Conceição at the dining room of her apartment in Mouraria, where she lives with her husband, her daughter, her daughter in law and her grandaughter. Olinda is 66 and has been living in the apartment since she was 9, where she also ran a hair salon until 5 years ago. She had to close the salon because her clients became too old to climb the 3 flights of stairs and the taxes too steep for her income. In early 2017 she received an eviction notice from her landlond, who wanted to renovate the place to rent for tourists. After several protests and a legal fight, she and her neighbour won the right to stay in the building for 5 more years with a small increase in their rents
