ABOUT
I’m a freelance photographer based in São Paulo, Brazil. I specialize in feature stories, portraits and more recently in interiors, working for editorial, commercial and corporate clients.I studied journalism at the Pontifícia Universidade Católica, in Rio de Janeiro, my hometown, where I also started my carrer, in 1994, as a writer for a daily paper, O Dia.

In 1996 I left Brazil to attend an one year program at the International Center of Photography, in New York, and ended up living in the city until 2002, when I moved back to Brazil.

Currently I do assignment work for a long list of clients while I’m pursuing two long term personal projects: one documenting the profound transformation taking place in the Brazilian Amazon and a secong documenting the explosive emergence of a new middle classe in Brazil, popularly known as the “Classe C”.
