I'm a freelance photographer based in Ericeira, Portugal. My work focuses mainly on the plight of communities and their relationship with a changing world. I have extensive international working experience, often in difficult places. My work has already taken me to South, Central, and North America, Europe, Africa, Central Asia, and Japan. It has appeared in prestigious publications such as The New York Times, Monocle, The Telegraph Magazine, La Repubblica “D”, The Guardian, Stern, Der Spiegel. Geo, Terra Mater, L’Express, National Geographic Brasil. I have also photographed projects for commercial clients like Aston Martin, BMW, Lufthansa, Delta Airlines, Bosch, BNY Mellon, Thyssen Krupp, Siemens, Weleda, and directed video projects for the Brazilian Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale, for Studio X, and for the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. My work is represented by the Agentur Focus photo agency, in Germany, and has been exhibited in group shows in Belgium, Hungary, Japan, France, Finland, Peru, Paraguay, Bolivia, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Puerto Rico, and Mexico. It is also part of the collection of the Instituto Moreira Salles, in Brazil, the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts, in Japan and the Ruhr Museum, in Germany
